Description
Mysha is a premium, referral-based membership community for modern mothers — 1,000+ members, predominantly C-suite executives and founders, across NYC, NJ, CT, LA, Miami, and Austin. We have a 52% newsletter open rate, 7M+ member social reach, and 98% of our members have purchased a product recommended in their pod. Sponsors don't just get access to an audience- they get access to the women who set the agenda for everyone around them.
We're hiring a Sponsorship Manager to own revenue across our flagship events and touchpoints. This is a sales-led role for an experienced closer with an existing network in event and community sponsorships, a real track record, and the instincts to run a pipeline without hand-holding.
You'll inherit a warm prospect list, an established brand, and a community that sponsors genuinely want in front of. Your job is to convert that into a clean, predictable revenue line and grow it.
You will own the strategy and execution of sponsorships that drive member value, engagement, and revenue. This role works through close cross-team collaboration and plays a central role in positioning Mysha as the premium membership community for modern mothers.
Responsibilities
Sponsorship Sales & Revenue (primary)
- Develop and execute a sponsorship strategy that supports member engagement, growth, and long-term business goals
- Hit agreed quarterly and annual sponsorship revenue targets
- Identify, pitch, and close partnerships with premium venues and brands
- Manage and convert inbound sponsorship inquiries, respond promptly, qualify fit, and move warm leads through the pipeline
- Re-engage Mysha’s existing sponsor and prospect list, and extend the pipeline through your own network and targeted outreach
- Own sponsorship sales for Mysha’s flagship multi-city event series (#Motheryourself and Career Day), and attach sponsor revenue to recurring touchpoints (events, newsletters, and other opportunities that you’ll help us identify)
- Tailor pitches, decks, and proposals per sponsor opportunity using Mysha’s templates and brand assets (Canva, Notion)
- Negotiate sponsorship terms
- Maintain a clean view of the pipeline so leadership always knows where revenue and future programming stand
Sponsor Relationship Management
- Hold each sponsor relationship through the full lifecycle pitch, contract, delivery period, post-event reporting, and renewal
- Partner with operations on every deal handoff operations executes the deliverables (WhatsApp mentions, newsletter placements, gift bag logistics, on-the-ground activation) you stay in front of the sponsor
- Deliver post-event ROI summaries and renewal conversations that protect the relationship and grow the spend year-over-year
- Flag risk early when a sponsor commitment is at risk of slipping, so operations can correct course before it affects the sponsor experience
Strategic Input into Packaging & Pricing
- Consult with operations and leadership on what sponsorship packages, price points, and structures will land in the market
- Design partnership models that create mutual value and scale across cities
- Surface patterns from the field (what sponsors are asking for, what’s getting traction, what’s hitting friction) so packaging can evolve Community Engagement
- Stay close to the Mysha community and member experience so the sponsors you bring in align with member life
- Ensure sponsorships feel intentional, premium, and aligned with Mysha’s curation standards
- Attend key Mysha events where your sponsor's presence is useful
- Represent Mysha as an Ambassador of the brand in sponsor conversations
Requirements
Skills, Abilities, and Experiences
- 5+ years selling event sponsorships, with a real, demonstrable track record you can name the deals you’ve closed, the targets you’ve hit, and the revenue you’ve added
- Experience selling community sponsorships is a strong plus
- An existing network of brand contacts, agency contacts, or sponsor decision-makers you can mobilize immediately
- Proven ability to close $60K+ sponsorship deals aligned with a community of modern mothers
- Strong pitch craft and exceptional communication: you can write the deck, customize it per sponsor, and walk it through a buyer with confidence Canva and Notion fluency expected
- Strong follow-through and account management instincts sponsors describe working with you as organized, responsive, and easy
- Comfortable operating from a playbook with light oversight self-directed and collaborative you partner cleanly with operations
- Excellent negotiation skills across fees, revenue share, and barter arrangements
- Clear, kind, concise communication equally credible on Zoom with a CMO and in a Slack thread with the internal team
- Personal integrity and providing value within your professional and personal relationships are driving forces for you
- A people person and a connector who values cultivating relationships with lots of different kinds of people
- Extreme attention to detail across multiple sponsors, deadlines, and contracts
- Genuine connection to Mysha’s mission and the lives of modern mothers
- You see the world as gray, not black and white.

- Sponsorship revenue hits the target on a predictable cadence and grows year over year
- Flagship event sponsor slots are filled at or above target each cycle
- A renewing portfolio of sponsors who describe Mysha as one of their best partnership experiences
- Sponsor activations that feel additive to the Mysha member experience
- Clean, predictable handoffs between sales and operations on every deal
